Heading down to Regina, up to Outlook for the province’s tallest bridge, up to Stoon (will I get points for a picture of the Canadian Navy’s only land based ship?), and finally home. On the way, I’ve found an old abandoned airbase. I’ll find out who owns the fields so I don’t trespass, but I’m really excited.
I’ll also be stopping in the town that claims to be the home of Santa Claus day, which means that I’ve finally found somewhere where no one has ever heard of Christmas.

It’s the city that rhymes with fun.

10 hours wow. The one thing I’ve learned from #oppohunt is that most of you have a lot more free time than I do.
Still been fun so far.

This is one of my two days off between two seven day stretches at work. It’s really my only day to rally.

I had to convince my wife to let me take detours on our mini-vacation to get # OppoHunt targets. She was pretty tired of it on the first day when we did the intended detours, but having fun keeping an eye out for things on the second and third day when I didn’t take us in “the wrong direction.” Otherwise, I would struggle to find time to participate in full road trip mode.

Planning a long #oppohunt for Saturday with the wife. We'll see if she's up for my Sunday trips.

I’m starting to think I might need to burn a vacation day if I want to get into the top 20.
Happy hunting!

That’s commitment.

Thanks! And I accepted I won’t win, but I remembered what my boss said in an email last year: “no good story starts with “well I was sitting at my desk when...””

The Canadian prairies also do this thing to you where a 250 mile drive to your day-trip destination and then turning around and driving 250 miles back seems totally reasonable.
